QUAKE for Ti83
by: Daniel Sims
1player or 2player link/splitscreen

This is the BEST 3d game for TI83 (so far). It features
2 different single player modes, and 3 2player modes!

=================GETTING STARTED======================
Start by sending allstar.83g to your calculator.
If you dont have the graphlink cable then you will have
to type it in by hand :o(

Run QUAKE to start it up, select what you want, then play!!

=====================HOW TO PLAY======================
Ok, the game is firstperson perspective. Here are the
Keys for single and linkplay:
	UP	=move forward
	LEFT	=turn left 90 degrees in intersection,
		180 degrees in hallway
	RIGHT	=turn right
	2nd	=shoot

Keys for splitscreen:
Player1(top):
	UP	=move forward
	LEFT	=turn left
	RIGHT	=turn right
	GRAPH	=shoot
Player2(bottom):
	2	=move forward
	1	=turn left
	3	=turn right
	LOG	=shoot

========================SHOOTING======================
You can only shoot somebody when you see them on your
screen. It takes one shot to kill someone. If both of
you are at the same exact spot, then you cantshoot each
other. In SINGLE PLAYER Deathmatch, you can only kill
the bot when its a square on the radar :o)

===================COMPASS and RADAR===================
All the hallways look the same, just a bunch of intersections
and hallways. Here is a view from above
(* is where you can walk):

			*******
			* * * *
			*******
			* * * *
			*******
So you dont get lost, and so you can find your opponent,
I included a compass and radar. In the top left corner
there is a compass that say North, East, South, or West.
When you turn, your direction changes. In the bottem
left corner there is a rader thingy that shows your
position and the other player postion.

======================SINGLE PLAYER====================
Single player is you against the computer in one of two
modes: deathmatch or Grab the gold.
DEATHMATCH: You try to kill the bot. It changes from
a + to a square on the radar, you can only kill it when
its a square.

GRAB THE GOLD:	You try to get to the other + mark to
grab the gold that is guarded by the bot. If you reach
it, then it says "YOU TAGGED IT", then you have to go
back to the first + mark. You get no weapons, and the
bot is fast!

=======================SPLIT SCREEN====================
This is 2player on one calculator. There are to modes:
DEATHMATCH:	Whoeever dies first looses
CAPTURE THE FLAG:	You try to get to the other guys
+ mark to get his flag and bring it back to your + mark.
If you are shot, you drop your flag, and you appear back
at your + mark. The flag is a dot on the screen if you
drop it. If you are carrying the flag, you are a solid
black square.

=======================LINK PLAY=======================
Make sure the 2 calculators are plugged together. Now
run QUAKE to set up the game, and then run QUAKEP1 if you
are player1 and or QUAKEP2 if your player2.
(You cant move until both players are in the game and
you may have to press ENTER if you still cant move)

Ok, it runs kinda slow, and to move, you have to press the
button about 2-4 times to go.

=======================MEMORY==========================
You can delete some stuff if you dont want it.
If you dont want:
SINGLE PLAYER	delete	ZQBOT
SPLITSCREEN	delete	ZQSPLIT, pics 1-6
LINK PLAY	delete	QUAKEP1, QUAKEP2, ZQMOVE progs

If you get a memory error or if you press ON, you can
contiune where you left off:
SINGLE PLAYER	run	ZQBOT
SPLITSCREEN	run	ZQSPLIT
LINK PLAY	run	QUAKEP1 or QUAKEP2

===================FUTURE UPDATES======================
