This game was written in TI-BASIC for the TI-83

You can run this from the normal program menu or launch it from a shell
that recognises BASIC programs such as SOS or Ashell. Sending the file
Gorilla.83p to your calculator is all you need to do to install it. For
information on how to do this, visit my web site (above)

1) How to play
Qbasic Gorillas was a classic game. This is a port of that game
and most of the features of Qbasic Gorillas are replicated in this
version for the TI-83 calculator. As yet it is unfinished so please put
up with any bugs (although I think most are weeded out).
After the title has come up, press enter. The sun and gorillas
will appear. Press enter again and the player indicated (player one is
on the left, player two is on the right) gets to choose their launch
angle and velocities through the menu. You can also view the city to
refresh your memory. The boss! option is basically an exit to the game.
When the correct angle and velocity are put in (the default is
an angle of 45 degrees and a velocity of 40 units) you select fire to
throw the projectile. It will fly throgh the air towards your opponent
(hopefully). The horizontal movement is also indicated by the line at
the top of the screen. If you shoot above the screen's height, the line
will stop drawing until it comes back into the screen. In this time a
small dot shows where it is horizontally.
Wherever it hits, a small chunk will be taken off the building.
If you hit your opponent, they will explode and you will get a point.

2) The future
This game is unfinished. As it is a port, I want to make it as
close to the original as I can on the restrictivly small screen. I need
to bring in factors such as making the sun invulnerable to attacks, the
introduction of wind resistance and better explosions when hitting your
opponent.
As well as these I want to get rid of the menu system for
changing angle and velocity, I will eventually get prompts above the
gorillas as they were in the original. I also want to introduce some
basic AI as currently you need to play against a friend or just against
yourself (if you have no friends).
	Stay tuned at my website.

4) Bug reports
If you find any bugs in this game or just want to tell me what
you thought about it; please contact me at thetron@sub-mail.com. Any
bug reports should include the exact circumstances of the error so that
they can be replicated and located and destroyed. Thankyou.
