DEATHQUEST
By Xathien

First of all, don't copy this work and say its yours. That's just annoying and stupid. Anyway, on to the game.

It's my wonderful text-based RPG-type game. When it has numbers displayed for a choice, push the number that you want to do. After you kill five dragons, you face the Great Dragon, which is the boss, afterwards you get a pretty credits sequence (unless you die, of course)
The enemies are as follows (in order of ouchieness):
1.Kobold
2.Goblin
3.Orc
4.Wyvern (can't be confronted until level 2)
5.Dragon (can't be confronted until level 3)
6.Great Wyvern (access from "High Levels" Menu)
7.The Great Dragon

Files should be included:
DTHQUEST.83p The main file.
ZDTHANIM.83P Magic Animations (sorry, no battle animations yet)
BATTLE.83P Two player calc-2-calc Battle uses Deathquest saves (no magic, and slightly buggy)
lDEATH.83l General Magic info (includes Magic Levelling info) should have dim = 20
lSAVE.83l I bet you can't guess what this does. dim should = 56
GDB0.83D Graph Database.... Xmin=0 Xmax=94 Ymin=0 Ymax=62
Pic4.83I Title screen Pic
Pic0.83I Black Screen Pic for Battle
Pic8.83I Square Pic for Magic Anims
Pic9.83I Game Over Screen

Not included but used files:
List 1 (L1)\
List 2 (L2) }= for BATTLE purposes
List 3 (L3)/
All variables (J somehow escaped, though, and Y is often consumed)

History of DeathQuest:
First thought up in 5th grade (didn't know what a Graphing Calculator was, then)
First made on TI-81 in 7th grade (basic stuff, didn't know much about Then or Else, etc.)
Made again on TI-81 in 8th grade (knew a bit more, saved memory, made it better)
First made on TI-83 in 9th grade, then calc ran out of batteries.... progs died
Remade on TI-83 in 9th grade, still called v1.0/1.2
Again remade on TI-83 and TI-83+ in 9th grade v2.0 (added magic, better menus, less mem)

SPOILER!!!!!!
Push sin( at the title screen for 999 stats. Makes the game kind of pointless. I added it only for testing purposes, but didn't bother to remove it.

WARNING!
Battle is a bit buggy. It works fairly well, but you should push enter at about the same time on both calcs. After the 1st turn, the battle gets kind of simultaneous (unintended)

Troubleshooting:
ERR:MEMORY
Delete other programs or something.
ERR:INVALID DIM
20->dim(lDEATH)
56->dim(lSAVE)
ERR:UNDEFINED
Make sure you have all the files. If you don't, e-mail me bombshelter@imatrekkie.com

Enjoy!
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
