The accompanying TI-83 programs are for use with the Texas Instruments
Calculator-Based Laboratory System (CBL) experiments provided in the "Real-World Math with
the CBL System" workbook.

Use the TI-GRAPH LINK to download these programs to your TI-83. For information on purchasing the TI-GRAPH LINK, call 1-800-TI-CARES or visit our web site at www.ti.com/calc.

The accompanying files are the latest revisions of the programs originally contained in the workbook, "Real-World Math with the CBL System" (copyright 1994, Texas
Instruments Inc.). It is recommended that the workbook be utilized when
these programs are used in the classroom. The workbook contains reproducible
activity sheets intended for student use, and teacher information sheets
for each activity.

The programs consist of applications and sample data for 25 workbook activities. If you obtain these programs from diskette, use TI-Graph Link to send the group file associated with the activity (e.g., ACT01.83G) to your calculator. In your calculator, these will ungroup into an application program and a sample data program (e.g., DISTFORM.83P and DATA01.83P). Then execute the application program (e.g., DISTFORM) on your calculator.

If you obtain these programs from TI's web site, download all three group files (wb3-83-x.83g) into a folder on your computer. Then use TI-Graph Link to ungroup each group file. When you are ready to perform an activity, use TI-Graph Link to send the application program associated with the activity (e.g., DISTFORM.83P) and the associated data program (e.g., DATA01.83P) to your calculator. Then execute the application program (e.g., DISTFORM) on your calculator.

These programs operate as the previous revision, with the following exceptions:

1.	A title page has been added to all programs, which includes the activity
number, program name, and version.

2.	A command has been added to all programs which ensures the CBL is in the
Communications mode.

3.	A Link Check has been added to all programs (except those called as part
of another program). This ensures the calculator and the CBL are communicating.

4.	CALIBRAT program has been improved.

5.	A command has been added to all programs utilizing realtime motion measurement
to allow CBR/CBL compatibility.
