Speris Legacy can be hard-drive installed. If you require this, there are
two ways of going about the procedure:-

1) Expert mode - This is for users who have some knowledge of Amiga Dos.
                 Just follow the instructions below.

2) Amateur mode - Obtain the hard-drive installer disk from Team17 direct.

a) Make a directory on your hard-drive called `SPERIS'.
b) Copy files from all of the disks to the directory (making sure that the
directories are copied across properly). You will need to copy the files
contained in the `LIBS' directory of disk 1 into the `LIBS' directory of
your boot partition on your hard-drive.
c) Assign `SPERIS-1:', `SPERIS-2:', `SPERIS-3:' and `SPERIS-4:' to the
directory. Enter the assigns in your `startup-sequence' file (located in
the `s' directory of your boot partition).
d) Reset the machine and type `SPERIS-1:Speris.Exe' and the game will load.

N.B. If you have only a base A1200 without any fast ram you may need to
take additional steps to make the game run properly. The best way of
freeing up some memory is to load up Power-Packer and decrunch the
`Speris.Exe' file, writing it back down again in the same place with
the same name. If the game still refuses to load you may need to
remove external peripherals such as printers, extra disk drives etc.
Booting with no startup-sequence also can make a difference, if you
do this make sure you re-enter the four assigns listed in (c). Also
try disabling the device `CC0:' from the boot-menu as this frees up
approximately 20k. Any further problems simply contact Team17 and we
will try our best to help you.
