A CHRISTMAS TALE
----------------
Tell us a story! The wide eyed chorus. The old woman settles into her
ancient ebony rocking chair and smiles mysteriously, staring through the
cabins thick bottle windows at the confetti snow outside, she begins to
weave a magic tale...

It is Christmas Eve and the fairy lights dance. Tucked up in bed, the good
children wake as the hall clock strikes twelve. On a table, mince pies,
some sherry and hay, but where is Santa? For the stockings hang empty.

In the shivering cold of the artic wasteland, past snow heavy pine and
solid ice lakes. Santa's toy laden sled skims through the night.

Then disaster!, A reindeer stumbles and the sleigh overturns. Toys scatter
this way and that, what's to be done? Santa looks crestfallen. All the
good children will be disappointed.

GAMEPLAY
--------
Santa is controlled via a joystick connected to the relevant port on the 16
bit computer. He must collect all of the spilt presents before he is
allowed to move into the next area of lapland.

OPPONENTS
---------
Santa meets a load of opponents during his romps around lapland collecting
presents. These baddies do not believe in Santa Claus, and if they touch
him he will disappear or lose a life. However, Santa Claus can fight back
by shooting snowballs at the opponents which freeze them for a short time,
allowing Santa to pass unharmed.

Santa also has a sparkling shield which will protect him for for short
periods of time, for instance after he has just lost a life. Here are some
of the objects Santa meets on his journey around lapland, some are baddies
and some help santa help santa in his mission.

        Jellies Mince pies Forks
        Chicken drumsticks Turkey choppers Sweets
        Xmas cake Xmas crackers Snowflakes
        Baubles Xmas trees Candles
        Decorations And lots lots more!

Items such as jelly help Santa by making him jump higher, whereas forks can
make Santa lose a life, careful experiments with Santa allow you to find
out who helps Santa and who doesnt!!

The number of gifts on the level is shown on the bottom right hand side of
the screen. And these count down as presents are collected.

Santa's score is also given at the bottom of the screen as well as the number
