                     Red Baron for the Amiga
                     ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Here are some tips for running Amiga Red Baron.

- NEVER remove a disk while the drive light is on. In fact, never swap disks
unless instructed to do so by the program.

- For best performance, leave Red Baron Disk #1 in any drive when running
  this game from floppy disks.

- If you have more than 1MB of memory and no hard drive, you can use the
AmigaDOS ADDBUFFERS command to speed up disk access. For example, typing
ADDBUFFERS DF0: 250 will allow you to move from the game's main menu to
the pilot's seat before you can say "Geronimo" 10 to 20 times.

- If you have LOTS of free RAM, you may copy all files from the Red Baron
disks to RAM: (the RAM disk) and run the game from there.

- If your computer has no fast memory (as is the case with most newer Amiga
500s and 2000s) Red Baron will take longer to perform certain tasks. So...
if you see the message "Please Wait," then please do.

- You can speed up the flight simulator by decreasing the game's detail
levels. To change the game's detail levels, press F10 while flying a
plane and alter the Ground Detail slider, Airplane Detail slider, and
  Wire Frame/Solid Fill button.
