YOUR BRIEF
----------
Grab your gamepad and take your duck through 8 magical worlds and 80
different game levels in this brilliant "Classic Style" arcade game. Grab
bonuses galore as you and a friend race to grab the keys that open the
enchanted doors.

Single-duck or play double duck with a friend, QWAK hits you with a
blinding spell of playability unrivalled anywhere else!

COMMENCING PLAY
---------------
To start the fun, simply press the RED button on your gamepad and off you
go! A second player may also join in at the same stage or in-between game
levels. Gameport one controls the GREEN duck whereas gameport two controls
the PURPLE duck!

CONTROLLING YOUR DUCK
---------------------
Move your duck around the play area using the cursors on your gamepad.
Pressing up will make your duck jump and pressing the RED button will make
your duck fire an egg (should you have eggs available) in the current
direction. Move into objects to collect them and avoid the roaming
baddies!

GAMEPLAY
--------
The object is to make your way through as many levels as possible whilst
achieving the highest score. Points are earned by collecting the various
bonuses, pickups and objects scattered around the many levels - and also
for dispensing of the games bad guys. Each level is won by collecting all
the golden keys, which in turn opens a door through which you can make your
exit to the next zone. Of course it's not as simple as that, which you'll
find out in due course!

CHALLENGE SCENES
----------------
On a challenge scene, the object is to complete the level before the time
runs out, collecting as much as possible. When the time runs out, it will
start to rain spikes, so don't hang about!

On challenge stages, your armour and lives are preserved until the next
level.

GUARDIAN SCENES
---------------
At the end of each "world" there is a guardian scene to overcome. This
usually features bigger, tougher enemies to thwart your progress. Complete
as usual and exit via the open door - note that some keys may not appear
until a particular baddy (or all of them!) has been disposed of.

SPECIAL BONUSES
---------------
You can earn special bonuses such as "Peaceful bonus" and "Gem Bonus" by
not killing any enemies and collecting all six coloured gems respectively.
These bonuses add greatly to your overall score and are cumulative until
you lose a life, when they are reset once more.

SPECIAL FEATURES
----------------
On occasion, a special feature is introduced into play in the form of a
"Hint". These vary and add real spice to the game, particularly when two
are playing! We will not spoil the fun by revealing their effects and
leave you to work out just what is happening!

In two player games, some of these features will mean that you have to work
together, others will mean total chaos!

HINTS AND TIPS
--------------
Eggs are not unlimited, so try not to waste them. Collect the bundles of
eggs on screen to add to your armoury and try to collect as much fruit as
possible because you are awarded extra eggs depending on how much fruit you
collected on a level.

Potions award special benefits such as invincibility, armour, flying caps,
extra speed, super eggs and chocolate eggs.

Super eggs kill baddies instantly, travel further than standard eggs and
are much quicker. They also "stun" the other player should you be playing
in two player mode. (Super eggs will reduce the other players armour, or
even kill them, when some of the "Special Features" are in force!).

Chocolate eggs are more powerful than normal eggs and they are
distinguished by their colour. Hitting a baddy with one of these eggs will
throw a small prize into the air. If you can collect this before it
disappears, then you win another chocolate egg! Beware though, as some
baddies will eject a booby prize in the shape of a small spike and this
should be avoided!

Spikes and skulls cause harm - don't tangle with them.

Mushrooms toggle the spikes into flowers and vice verca.

Staying on a screen too long will incur a shower of spikes.

Rusty gates need old iron keys.

Remember that flower = power.
